Andheri to Pune Cab for Office Commuters: Leave Times & Traffic Tips

Andheri is one of the most common Mumbai-side pickups for Pune office travel — IT parks, studios, and residential towers all sit on the Western Express Highway belt. This guide is only about the Andheri → Pune run, not a generic Mumbai overview.

Why Andheri is different from Dadar or Thane

From Andheri you usually feed into the expressway via the eastern freeway / Sion–Panvel approaches after clearing WEH. That first 45–75 minutes is the variable. Once you are on the Mumbai–Pune Expressway, the run is predictable. Thane pickups use a different approach; South Mumbai adds even more city time. Book the dedicated page: Andheri to Pune cab.

Weekday leave windows we recommend

  • 5:00–6:00 AM: Best for 9:30–10:30 AM Pune arrivals (Hinjewadi / Baner / Kharadi)
  • After 8 PM: Good for next-morning Pune starts; lighter WEH
  • Avoid 7–10 AM: WEH crawl can erase your buffer
