Goa now has two airports. Mopa (GOX) sits in North Goa; Dabolim (GOI) is closer to Vasco and South/central belts. Choosing the wrong airport adds an expensive local taxi after you land — or a painful backtrack.

Buffer rule
Treat Mopa like any long-haul flight transfer: domestic 2 hours at terminal after a 10–12 hour road plan with stops. Night departures from Pune are common.
